Analog photographer & filmmaker from France + Abu Dhabi

currently based in London.

Lucas' work interlaces mundane beauty and narratives anchored in reality, revealing worlds where fiction and the ordinary often clash and converge. His work draws deeply from his itinerant upbringing in a military family and a background in anthropology from Brown and Oxford University.

A self-taught artist, his practice blends documentary with fiction to breathe life into the overlooked corners of life. His photography is rooted in the real life experiences of drifters, those on the margins, and roadside stories. Paired with a commitment to cinematic storytelling, Lucas’ work is marked throughout by an element of poetic sensibility and magical realism.
